The first image here is edited with lightroom 1.0. Notice the detail lost in the snow in the second image, which I edited with photoshop CS3. Photoshop forced me to make to two layers so I could bring the exposure of the stone up. (Which totally sucked because I had to spend a ton of time outlining the division of layers.) Lightroom is so much smarter! What took me a good hour in photoshop (partly because I had never done it before) took me seconds in lightroom.
